If a farm is going to run smoothly, you need a lot of good hands. These people work together with us to make a strong team and each one is important.

Dennis, has been with us 15 years. He is undisputedly the best equipment operator on the farm. He drives the potato planter in the spring and the harvester in the fall. He also does a fine job of running the potato-bagging machine in the warehouse.

Michael has been with us the longest of any employee. For 22 years now he is faithfully the first one to show up for work every morning and his experience in monitoring potato quality is indispensable. He has a talent for helping newer employees learn the ropes. Michael also does a fine job of “spring cleaning” the warehouse every year to get ready for the new crop in the fall.

Donna has been known to wait at the end of her driveway during a snowstorm in order to get to work with Randy or William passing by with the tractor and snow blower. Not being one for sitting around, she is often asking what is next to do. Donna reliably manages the filling of potato storages in the fall.

Jimmy has been working with us for quite a few years. Jimmy is a dependable employee who is skilled at sorting and grading potatoes both in the warehouse and on the harvester. He also looks after a lot of odds and ends like grass trimming, painting, and running into town on a last minute errand.

John is a fine equipment operator and potato equipment builder. He has been spending a lot more time in the shipping and receiving area of the warehouse and keeps things on track.

If something is not running quite right, it won’t be long before Peter shows up. Peter is our in house machinery repair and maintenance man. He is always willing to try anything and looks forward to learning new things.

Neil, a native of Newfoundland, returns every fall to drive a truck during the harvest. During the winter Neil spends his days sorting and grading potatoes in the warehouse.

Bonnie a lady of few words has the fastest hands on the work force. She braves all kinds of weather picking rocks from the harvester belts. During the winter and spring she spends many hours sorting and grading potatoes before they are put into bags.

Creighton also drives a truck in the fall during harvest, and in the winter months can generally be found in the warehouse packing or building cartons to be filled.

With the implementation of new accounting and inventory tracking software, the need to fill a new postion became apparant. We welcomed Kelly to the team this summer as our secretary and bookkeeper. She is on a steep learning curve as she aquaints herself with the new software and becomes more familiar with the potato industry as a whole. Her experience in bookkeeping and her secretarial skills are helping her to get adjusted.
