William and Elisabeth have five children, Benjamin (14), Mitchell (12), Jessica (11), Christena (8) and Sarah (5). Benjamin helps out in some day-to-day tasks on the farm and is quickly learning the skills of the trade. Their other children also perform light chores around the farm like mowing the lawn, painting, cleaning up the yard, and from time to time sorting potatoes in the warehouse. Elisabeth, aside
from being a mother and homemaker, is active in the church community and also does the payroll for the farm.
Randy and Jennifer have two girls, Monique (5) and Katelyn (2). Monique enjoys riding with her dad in the tractor or truck, while Katelyn can be counted on for a squeal of happiness when her dad comes home. Jennifer is an
active volunteer in various church functions as well as paying farm bills.
The children in the family are a constant joy. They are a big reason for maintaining and developing the farm to allow them the opportunity to be involved in the farm if they should choose when they grow up.
Some favorite recreational activities of the kids include hockey, soccer, trampoline, swimming, and camping. |
